Would it Kill someone to Follow-up on big ass news stories once in a while?

Would it really kill news people to follow up on stories now and again? I mean, does anyone know (without hunting on the internet) how the only surviving miner is doing? I am so tired of stories being brushed under the rug. I want details, gory and otherwise, and resolutions.
I have to know.

What ever happened to sweet Jessica that fell down the well? Is she married? Is she normal?

Also, I was thinking the other night while watching “Million Dollar Baby”, whatever happened to that Morrison boxer……remember he was the first boxer diagnosed with HIV. I mean, hello? Did he quit, did he die?
Was he even that good?
